Summary
The aim of the study – to assess contact lens wear and care habits in Lithuania.
Materials and methods. An anonymous questionnaire was used to assess compliance with contact lens wear and care, contact lens-related symptoms, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on lens behavior. Statistical data analysis was performed with MS Excel and SPSS 29.0.
Good vision is very important sense, unfortunately, it gets worse over the years. People forget about proper working habits as well - it is a common truth that working with computer without taking breaks is unhealthy for the eyes. There are few options to regain the good vision - you could choose glasses or contact lenses. Majority of people choose contact lenses due to their convenience. However, they should be aware about all the possible complications of wearing contact lenses. There are two types of complications related to contact lenses wear.
